Representative Raymond Crews Stands for the Second Ammendment

Representative Raymond Crews was a guest speaker at the 2nd Amendment Freedom Celebration by U.S. LawShield. He, along with several other legislators, spent time with constituents discussing the importance of fighting for their second amendment rights on the state level. Representative Crews expressed his support for the constitutional carry legislation he co-authored in the previous session. He will continue to fight for everyone’s right to defend themselves and their families without cumbersome regulations. BOSSIER CITY - Today, Attorney General Jeff Landry endorses Raymond Crews for State Representative District 8.

Crews finished first among four Republican candidates in a special election on March 25th with 41% of the vote. He will face Robbie Gatti in a runoff on April 29th.

He is a true limited government conservative, a patriot, a family man, and a Christian leader of exceptional character and integrity. I can think of no better person to represent the wonderful people of District 8 in Baton Rouge."

Raymond is a combat veteran who served 17 years in the United States Air Force and Air Force Reserve, flying combat missions in Iraq and Afghanistan. After his service in the military, Raymond flew for major airline companies and later started two small business here in Northwest Louisiana.

Raymond is very active in the community and his home church of First Bossier, where he recently served as Chairman of Deacons.

He is married to wife, Dianah, who is a Chemist and Science Teacher and has two children Caitlin (16) and Joshua (14).
